I've used a white linen card for the base card and plain white card for the embossing. The large square is cut using a Martha Stewart punch and embossed with a daisy embossing folder and the two hearts are similarly embossed using cuttlebug folders having been cut with a heart die first which I think is a Nellie Snellen die but not sure. I haven't put a sentiment on yet but will do so when it goes into my 'for sale' box probably as a wedding card.
Hope you like it, I'm quite pleased with it and with the photograph considering the problems I have using my husband's camera.
Love that PATP, finishes your super card perfectly

Hi Sallie,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you entered the challenge again as your card is so beautiful and will make a perfect wedding card! I know just what you mean about being phased by everyone's creations (I always am!) but you have no need to be when you make cards as lovely as this! xx

A really beautiful card, love it ALL
ReplyDeleteSallie, you certainly have nothing to worry about . Your card this week is absolutely stunning. I was like you to when I first started and I thought I would never get the hang of LIM, however after a few weeks I felt a bit more confident and its helped me loads. Maybe we are never satisfied with our own work. Hugs Rita xxx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous mixture of embossing and edge embossing here love it. XOXO Zoe

Sallie your card is beautiful!! I love the beautiful embossing, and the swans are fab! I used to worry about having a similar card, so now I don't even check out any of the cards prior to posting my card... After all, there's bound to be similarities...great minds and all that!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful card, so decorative!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card, very detailed. (I don't look at the other entries either now until I've done my own card, but even if it's similar to someone else's you should still enter it, we're a friendly bunch!) x
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful and very elegant, your embossing is perfect and the composition is excellent. Don't look at the other entries I did at first and chickened out . Even if we use the same things everyone's interpretation is so different.
